“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”  Phil 4:6

In this verse I want you to pay particular attention to the word “guard”.  First of all, what does guard mean?..... 

One of the things I find very funny about my three year old is how he sees my relationship with him.  On one hand he thinks daddy can do anything,  he can fix anything,  he can buy anything etc… but at the same time he thinks that I am at his command.  It is like “Yes,  daddy can do all those things that I can’t,  but I am the boss.....

Most of us today have a cell phone.  Compared to the home phone,  the cell phone is way more convenient.  The biggest advantage obviously that cell phones have over home phones is that you don’t have to be at home to use your phone....

In any kind of relationship, the relationship is not over when you start having fights. In fact, the relationship is over when you stop fighting but start ignoring each other.....

There is this chatroom that I visit on a regular basis. Every time I have any type of question I just log on to this chatroom and ask my questions. I am amazed at how knowledgeable the answers are. I have never seen such wisdom in my entire life.....

If you do not know how to pray, what you need is not a prayer skill. What you need is faith. Because prayer is not a vocation. It is an act of faith. The Bible says “The Lord answered their prayer because they trusted in him” 1 Chr. 5:20. Not because they used impressive words; not because they prayed long; not because they have many years of experience, but because they trusted in him.....
