On the day of Christmas Eve in 1914 during the first world war in Belgium, German troops started decorating their side for Christmas.  They placed candles on trees and kept singing Silent Night. The British troops on the other side joined the singing.  Soon they started shouting Christmas greetings to one another and arranged to meet for exchange of small gifts.

I have never come across a material estimating the number of books produced in the history of mankind.  In all of history how many books do you think people have written?  May be billions?  Trillions?  I don’t know.  But, we know some things about these books.....

Knowledge without God,  knowledge without Christ..Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge... Col 2:3....knowledge without eternal perspective is no knowledge.  It leads nowhere. 

 "The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge" Prov 1:7........

The Bible teaches that we are created in the image of God.  If you genuinely believe that, it should make a world of difference in how you see yourself.  The world today is caught up in all sorts of theories about the origin of life.  The biggest shortcoming of all those theories, including the theory of evolution, is that they reduce the human race to a result of an accidental process......

You might have heard about the movie showing on the discovery channell about the “discovery” of Jesus’ tomb and the balsphemous conclusions they are drawing.  The issue was raised in one secular forum I am a member of and below is my response regarding those claims......

Even though there might be things we do not know about God the same way Nicodemus did not know some things about the wind,  even though there might be questions we can’t answer about God,  the Bible, Jesus etc… we know God is real.....

Yes, God knows everything.  But, knowing God does not always translate into knowing everything He knows.   Sometimes we come across things we just don’t understand.  When that happens we need to step up and say I don’t know.  It takes humility and character to do that.  Unlike what we tend to think, however, it does not hamper evangelism.  If anything, it helps it.

The world is good at telling us not to believe in God but falls terribly short of providing a sound alternative to answer all the important questions of life......

I don’t understand why people think that science presumes no God.  Some people see God and science as contradictory. I don’t know about you but I see no contradiction whatsoever.  The Lord has nothing against reasoning.  He is not against it.  But,  he is above it.....

Don’t tell me you are not spiritual...

Why then do you go to church for your funeral? Aren’t you admitting that there is life after death? You are. Don’t contradict yourself. Don’t fool around. Life is short. Time is running out. God is real. You know that full well. Don’t be a fool......

Traditionally, the church has been pressuring people to choose between science and God. Those who chose God became ignorant in science and those who chose science gained science but missed out on eternal life.

Do you really have to choose between science and God?.....
