Job said "Naked I came from my mother's womb, and naked I will depart. The LORD gave and the LORD has taken away; may the name of the LORD be praised." Job 1:21

In this verse Job is referring to two important events of life. One is when he came to the world and the other is when he leaves the world. He is saying in those two most important events of life, I am the same. This is a reminder to us that no matter what happens to us in this life, we are all equal in the end. He is also saying that he will bless the Lord no matter what happens to him in between these two most important events of life. Because if you keep reading the book of Job, when you get to chapter 19 he says “I know my redeemer lives and in the end he will stand on the earth……I myself will see Him with my own eyes. I and not another.”

Here is an important lesson to learn from Job: God is good all the time no matter what your circumstances may say. So, Blessed be the name of the Lord no matter what. Don’t judge God by your circumstances. Don’t try to judge God by what happens here and now. The right attitude we all should adopt is to bless the Lord no matter what happens today and stay focused on his second coming to take us home because in the end that is what matters. This is Christian maturity.

The Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" And let him who hears say, "Come!" Rev. 22:17
