Job had a lot of questions for the Lord. The first 37 chapters of the book are full of those questions. When you get to chapter 38 of the book it reads "Then the LORD answered Job" Job 38:1. You would expect the Lord to answer all of Jobs questions in the paragraphs that follow. However, the first thing that the Lord said was, "Brace yourself like a man; I will question you, and you shall answer me." Job 38:3
Job ended up getting a list of questions from the Lord on top of all the questions he had for the Lord. But, what is intriguing is that Job was satisfied with the response he got. He finally said: "My ears had heard of you but now my eyes have seen you. Therefore I despise myself and repent in dust and ashes." Job 42:5-6
Some people say that all our questions will be answered when we get to heaven. But I tend to think that the questions we have will disappear when we get to heaven. In fact, I think, we will be too ashamed of all the silly questions that we ask today.
We are called to worship the Lord, not to question him.
