God's breath
By Semere @ 1:43 AM :: 212 Views :: 1 Comments :: :: The word/The bible

Twice in the Bible we are told about the breath of God.

First one is when man (adam) was made.   Gen 2:7 tells us "And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul."  The result of God breathing into man is that man became a living soul.  Man got life because of the breath of God.  Meaning the essence of man is the breath of God.  Without it man is dust and he really is.

The other part of the Bible that talks about the breath of God is 2 Tim 3:16.  It says "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness"

"The word of God" Hebrew 4:12 says  "is living and active".  Living because it has life,  gives life,  and active because it works.  God is the only one whose word is active and can do things.  He didn't need engineers to put his plan into action.  He didn't need masons to build mountains,  Carpenters to build trees or marines to create the sea.  He just spoke and they came in to being.  The whole universe came into being just because God said so.

Well Said Seme! It's this worthat is the WAY (to OUR HEAVENLY FATHER); the LIFE (to enjoy in ETERNITY including today!) and the TRUTH (to know and WOULD SET US FREE FROM THE BONDAGE OF SIN). As Paul prayed to the Ephesians (1:17 - 19) Only when the "Eyes of Our Hearts" got opened up that we may be able to start (but won't be able to finish) comprehending the extent of God's Mighty Work For Us, In Us and Through US ALL UNTO HIS GLORY! Only when that happens we can say with AUTHORITY that "A MAN SHALL NOT LIVE BY BREAD OR MONEY ALONE BUT BY THE WORD (BREATH) THAT COMES OUT OF OUR HEAVENLY FATHER! Selah! (or Think on these things!) Blessings t'all!
