I don't know about you but the bible is the only place I have ever seen the words everlasting and love in the same phrase:
"I have loved you with an everlasting love" Jer 31:3.
If you are like me you might have at some point or another wondered why the Lord had to be so gracious to Israel. There might be different ways of explaining that: Covenant, Abraham etc....but they all boil down to one thing: His everlasting, never ending Love.
That is why Queen Sheba said to Solomon: Because of the LORD's eternal love for Israel, he has made you king, to maintain justice and righteousness." 1 Kings 10:9.
"God is Love" ! John 4:16
The best love I have heard of other than God's eternal love is Fiqir eskemeqabir. People who can find that are lucky. How lucky are you and I to have found Everlasting love that surpasses meqabir.
