Assumptions

I don’t understand why people think that science presumes no God.  Some people see God and science as contradictory. I don’t know about you but I see no contradiction whatsoever.  The Lord has nothing against reasoning.  He is not against it.  But,  he is above it.

“How great is God—beyond our understanding”  Job 36:26

In fact,  if all scientists were to believe in God,  I think they would have discovered way more things than they have so far.  Why? Not only because the Lord would have given them success,  but also because in research if some of your underlying assumptions are wrong,  all your discoveries will be partially or totally wrong.  Any scientific research should be based on the assumption of the reality of God.  Why? simply because God is real.  Your assumptions are the foundation which your research is built upon.  If they are wrong,  everything goes wrong.  A good example for this is Mr. Darwin. Mr. Darwin never proved that God doesn’t exist.  He assumed (there you go!) that God doesn’t exist and came up with his theory of evolution based on this assumption.  No wonder why his theory failed horribly after decades of seeming success.  With all the brain power that he had,  I wonder what Mr. Darwin would have discovered if he was to assume that God is real.

Science without faith is a foolish exercise because “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge” Proverbs 1:7

Be smart. Have faith in God.
