Even most secular historians do not doubt the authenticity of our Bible and that it is the same Bible that the first generation Christians had.....

I hate it when we Christians gang up to oppose things like this.  We look stupid.

Then, as many Christians do, I read John 1:1 to show that Jesus is also God. Then to my surprise the guy told me that the bible translators made a mistake when they translated “the word was God” and he told me the original Greece version reads it as “the word was a god”. Every year the earth makes a full revolution around the sun and comes back to stare at you and me and ask us questions about how we have been doing the last 365 days while she was cruising around the sun.  I wonder how many of us she finds same old same old,  doing same old thing,  thinking same old way,  holding on to things that don’t work anymore.  I wonder to how many of us she says “OMG,  you never change except you look a little ol

The New Testament contains more than 400 quotations and echoes of the book of Isaiah.  Isaiah and the Psalms form a big portion of the New Testament.  If you are one of those people who think we don’t need the Old Testament,  I have a question for you:  What are you going to do with all these references and quotations from the Old Testament? (that was a side note)....

I used to dream a lot when I was younger; but sometimes nightmares. Most of the dreams are a recall of the day activity. There are also nightmares when a dog or a cat or a big chicken chasing me. That could be a recall of “Jibu Meta – Teret”.

The overall trend clearly points to the radical transformation in the mother’s role over the last few decades. Caring for children while dad is at work is no longer the primary responsibility for mothers who are pioneered by Sarah Palin.

In my lifetime I haven’t seen a person that the entire world fell in love with.  That is what happened with Obama.  Whether it is true love or infatuation, it is yet to be seen.  But right now Obama and the world are in a honeymoon....

I start to question myself “Can we (Christians) have common ground with the world today?“ ...

Danny was an example for that. I have seen Danny paying the price for years to accomplish this. He attended music school for his Vocal and learning music. He practiced in his studio, in his car, at church and so on. He invested in his studio gears buying the best hardware and software.

The Title: I am trying to negate the popular Microsoft slogan, i.e. “Your potential. Our Passion.” First, I don’t think the slogan is generally true. How come Microsoft’s Passion is our Potential?

Anyhow, I am saying all these because at least I found someone that I admire most i.e “Obama” recently making speech for father’s day. When I listen to it, I said “Liben Qibe AtetaHew”.

Throughout history the church has been in and out of politcal involvement.  There have been times when the church was the government and times when the church totally ignored what happens in politics. Today the church is not directly involved in politics but politicians in the west are sensitive to the Christian Community.  They realize christians can decide an election.  American evangelicals are believed to have cast the deciding vote that put George Bush in the White House.  It is believed that the overwhelming support by evangelicals is what helped George Bush get the key to the Oval Office.......
